i always feel a very dedicated amount of attraction whenever there is the chance to visit one of the old fairs still existing almost anywhere in the world. they seem to be fallen out of time, like remnants of a different past, very much acting as museums of seemingly different social conditions.
the thrill of walking up and down between all of these vibrant amusements, listening to the always competing melange of forgotten songs, smelling all the different sweets' flavours, watching the kids getting more or less excited and the teenagers already acting cool, still seems to glue together humans of all kinds in a way that is even more relevant today than ever before.
